Executive DirectorThe Executive Director of an NGO is a critical leadership role responsible for providing strategic direction, managing organizational operations, and promoting the organization’s mission and values. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in non-profit management, as well as a passion for social justice and community development.
Key Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Non-profit Management, Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in non-profit leadership, with a proven track record of successful program development, fundraising, and staff management.
Knowledge of best practices in organizational development, including strategic planning, financial management, and human resources.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, donors, and community partners.
Demonstrated commitment to social justice, equity, and community development.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the organization’s strategic plan, including setting priorities and goals for programmatic, fundraising, and advocacy efforts.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the organization, including budgeting, financial management, and staff supervision.
Cultivate relationships with donors, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure the organization’s financial sustainability and impact.
Lead the development and implementation of innovative programming and advocacy initiatives to advance the organization’s mission and values.
Serve as the public face of the organization, representing it in the media, at conferences, and in public forums.
