POSITION SUMMARY Awa Krubally, as Field Officer, implements community-based programs and interventions aimed at eliminating harmful traditional practices. This position involves direct engagement with communities, conducting awareness sessions, supporting behavior change initiatives, and contributing to program monitoring and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Community Mobilization & Engagement Conduct community sensitization sessions on harmful traditional practices Engage with women’s groups, youth groups, and community leaders Facilitate community dialogues and awareness-raising activities Build trust and rapport with community members
Program Implementation Implement field activities according to program work plans Organize and conduct training workshops and education sessions Distribute information, education, and communication (IEC) materials Support community-based initiatives and interventions
Data Collection & Reporting Collect program data and beneficiary information from the field Complete monitoring forms and activity reports Document field observations, challenges, and community feedback Submit timely reports to the Senior Field Officer
Beneficiary Support & Follow-up Provide information and referrals to program beneficiaries Conduct follow-up visits with participants and beneficiaries Track behavior change and program outcomes at community level Support survivors and vulnerable individuals with appropriate resources
Coordination & Collaboration Collaborate with local authorities and community-based organizations Participate in community coordination meetings Support other field team members in program activities Represent GAMCOTRAP at community events and forums
